Product lubrication

For the lubrication of the forklift bearing, first open the cover and observe the wear of the separated bearing. If it is confirmed that the bearing is not damaged or the wear is not over the limit, remove the clutch pedal and adjust the ejector lever to return the separation bearing and its seat to the final position. Use a grease gun to fill the hole in the bearing housing until the bearing overflows. Then turn the bearing slightly and refill the oil. Repeat the above work until there is a little butter around the bearing. Then turn the bearing and observe the oil. If there is resistance to the rotation of the bearing, it is proved that the bearing is filled with butter. Then remove a small amount of butter from the separation housing and re-adjust the position of the separation bearing.

Precautions

First, keep the forklift bearing and its surrounding environment clean

Even if the smiling dust that is invisible to the naked eye enters the forklift bearing, it will increase the wear, vibration and noise of the IKO bearing.

Second, use the installation carefully

Strong stamping is not allowed. It is not allowed to directly hit the forklift bearing with a hammer. It is not allowed to transmit pressure through the rolling elements.

Third, use appropriate and accurate installation tools

Try to use special tools and try to avoid using cloth and short fibers.

Fourth, to prevent the corrosion of forklift bearings

When taking the forklift bearing directly by hand, wash off the sweat on your hands and apply high-quality mineral oil before handling. Pay special attention to rust prevention during the rainy season and summer.

However, under certain operating conditions, forklift bearings can achieve longer life than traditional calculations, especially at light loads. These special operating conditions are when the rolling surfaces (tracks and rolling elements) are effectively separated by a lubricant film and the surface damage caused by contaminants is limited.
