The characteristic of bidirectional thrust angular contact ball bearings is that they can simultaneously withstand the combined load of radial and axial loads, limiting the axial displacement of both sides of the shaft. It is composed of an outer ring, an inner ring, a steel ball, and a cage, and can work stably at high speeds. During installation, it should be noted that although the bearing can withstand bidirectional axial loads, if there is a ball gap on one side, attention should be paid not to allow the main axial load to pass through the groove edge on the side with the gap.

Distinguishing content

The difference between centripetal thrust ball bearings and thrust angular contact ball bearings

The use of centripetal thrust ball bearings, like thrust ball bearings, cannot withstand radial forces, while angular contact ball bearings can withstand both radial and axial forces.

The ability of thrust ball bearings to withstand axial forces is much greater than that of angular contact ball bearings (approximately twice).

The bearing accuracy of the thrust angular contact ball is much higher than that of the thrust ball bearing, and the speed it can withstand is also much higher, which can be used as a spindle bearing
