The design of double row angular contact ball bearings is basically the same as that of single row angular contact ball bearings, but only occupies smaller axial space.
Double row angular contact ball bearings can withstand radial loads and axial loads acting in both directions. They can limit the bidirectional axial displacement of the shaft or shell, with a contact angle of 30 degrees. It can provide a highly rigid bearing configuration and withstand overturning torque.
HolderDouble row angular contact ball bearings using stamped steel plate cages do not have suffixes related to cages.
Bearings using machined brass solid cages guided by steel balls are denoted by the last M. The suffix MA refers to the use of brass solid cage bearings guided by the outer ring. Bearings using glass fiber reinforced polyamide cages (suffix TVH or TVP) can be used for stable temperatures below 120 ℃. If bearings are lubricated with oil, the additives in the oil may shorten the service life of the cage.
In addition, oil that ages at high temperatures may also shorten the service life of bearings, so it is necessary to strictly comply with the regulations on oil change intervals.
Permissible speed
Under suitable working conditions, the bearing speed may be higher than the reference speed, but it is not possible to exceed the limit speed value. When determining the thermal allowable speed, full consideration should be given to the impact of special working environments.
After heat treatment, FAG double row angular contact ball bearings can continue to operate below 150 ℃. If the cage is made of polyamide material, the working temperature will be limited by the cage. Sealed bearings are also subject to the requirements of sealing components.
Sealed bearing
In addition to open double row angular contact ball bearings, angular contact ball bearings with ZR type dust covers (non contact sealing) and RSR type sealing rings (contact sealing) on both sides are also the basic structural forms provided by FAG. This type of bearing is already filled with high-quality lubricating grease that has been rigorously tested by FAG in the manufacturing factory. If needed, bearings with single sided sealing can also be provided. The limit speed of using non-contact sealed bearings (suffix. 2ZR) is lower than that of open bearings.
